Gerdau Ameristeel Celebrates Spirit of Football to Benefit Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County, FL
Auction Launches January 26, 2008 and runs through February 5, 2009

Football is going green this year with the help of Gerdau AmeriSteel, a proud sponsor of the Tampa Bay Super Bowl Host Committee and one of the world’s leading recyclers of steel.  Using scrap steel from the famed Orange Bowl Stadium, one-of-a-kind works of art will be created which will represent each NFL playoff team.  Then, throughout Super Bowl week, the exhibit will be revealed on the pier in Tampa’s Cotangchobee Park – highlighting the potential for recycling steel to become a sustainable and beautiful piece of artwork.  These extraordinary sculptures will be auctioned off to raise money for Habitat for Humanity of Hillsborough County, FL, an organization dedicated to providing housing to deserving families in need.

 

 

 

51st GRAMMY® Awards Charity Online Auction
Auction launches February 2nd and runs through February 19th, 2009

The 51st GRAMMY Awards Charity Online Auction will offer more than 100 items ranging from exclusive music memorabilia to once-in-a-lifetime VIP experiences. Featured items include: a 52nd Annual GRAMMY Ultimate VIP Experience; VIP concert experiences with Katy Perry and Kathy Griffin (including meet and greets); and memorabilia autographed by Christina Aguilera, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, L.L. Cool J, John Mayer and many more! Proceeds benefit MusiCares and the GRAMMY Foundation.
